Description

The LA Promise Fund believes #ArtsMatter and is excited to help LA County teachers enhance student learning through engagement with the Getty's Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA initiative, a collaboration of arts organizations across Southern California.

The broad range of Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA exhibitions presents an opportunity to connect many students with their heritage and identity, and to strengthen the relationship between schools and museums. For these reasons, Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA Teacher Resource Guides were created to help teachers connect the themes of PST: LA/LA exhibitions to class curricula. The guides are part of an overall PST: LA/LA education program that includes: professional development for teachers, free student field trips, free family field trips, and a student art challenge.

Join us as we explore these Teacher Resource Guides and share strategies to make the most of the PST: LA/LA education program offerings.
